BAND BIO

Horror Torture Clikk, or HTC, was a hardcore hip hop group which was established in Sudbury, Ontario by founding member D-Mo Bravo, later known as Julius Sleazer. The group consisted of several local MC's and performed select shows throughout the group's history. Some of the MC's included D-Mo Bravo/Julius Sleazer, Backdoor Assassin, Felon, Johnny Bizness, Dwight Trash and many more.

I became a member of the group around 2010 after producing several beats for the group as DJ Slaytanic. It was perhaps this event, working with Julius Sleazer that inspired me to start rapping and become an MC myself using the alias Slaytanic. It came as a shock to many that I became involved in the hip hop scene, but I was always a fan of the music and eventually started creating it myself.

After producing many beats for HTC, we ended up recording a music video for the song Hellrazors which really set the level locally for us a rap group. During the filming of the video, immediately following my verse, a huge convoy of military tanks and vehicles showed up in the shot behind us, adding a huge element to the effect of the video, and having the military show up behind us didn't cost us a dime. It was merely a matter of fate and luck, and the video turned out really well.

After playing a couple of live shows with HTC, the group disbanded and I performed a couple of solo gigs on my own as Slaytanic. I then began to focus more on creating my own albums and have since released several to date, including some song collaborations with HTC members.
