Anthems is a Canadian black metal tribute band comprising of members from Wolven Ancestry, Symbiotic Growth, Finnr's Cane, Fleshcraft, and Fractal Generator. The band formed in 2015 as a side project to pay homage to pioneering black metal bands which influenced them the most.

During the existence of the band, Anthems performed select shows at local festivals and opening spots for bands like Arkona and Mork on their Canadian tours. Although the band did not play a lot of live events, they built a solid following due to their ability to perform the cover songs with striking precision to the original bands they paid tribute to.

Some of the bands that Anthems performed covers of included Emperor, Dissection, Mayhem, Windir, Watain, Cor Scorpii, Dimmu Borgir, Old Mans Child, and Hypocrisy, among other pioneering and highly influential European black metal bands. Before Anthems disbanded, they recorded a high-quality set list in video format which demonstrated the bands' ability to play the songs as close to the original versions as possible. These recordings would be the last performance of the band, as members of the band decided to focus their efforts on their main music projects.
