RAUNCH ROCK ROAD STORIES
THE CRABMEN DISCOGRAPHY
THE CRABMEN BIO
The Crabmen is an improvised raunch rock project formed by Jelly Bleegins and Crabster Clawleg in the early cold winter months of 2006. All Crabmen songs are entirely made up and recorded on the spot, resulting in some of the strangest and most bizarre recordings possible.
The freestyle mixture of dark comedy and off-the-cuff instrumentation seemed to be a working formula for the duo because during the first year of the project's existence, the Crabmen self-produced 5 releases of pure musical insanity. It seemed as though the albums were being produced quicker than they could be released by the bands label Velcrow Ulcer Records, some even being posted to social media sites like Myspace and Last.FM without even having album art yet.
After producing a couple more albums, the band ended up performing a single live event which resulted in the crowd bellowing with laughter. As time went on some music videos were created, and the exposure resulted in much of the Crabmen's music being taken down or censored from social media websites. In wake of this tragedy, their albums remained unheard aside from the underground fans who had been polluting their ear drums since the beginning.
It was not until 2025 when The Crabmen created a new social media presence so that their experimental mutant rock could be heard once again by the masses, re-releasing the relics that were once thought to be lost forever.
